Adopt a Health Care Worker

Let’s support those who have been supporting us during this holiday season! Health Care workers in Johnson County have been working tirelessly to take care of our community during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many have made personal sacrifices — including isolating themselves from family and friends – in order to keep their patients safe. During this Holiday season, we wanted to show our thanks with an “Adopt a Johnson County Health Care Worker” initiative.

“Health care workers” is a broad term for an occupation in the industry. This program isn’t just for doctors and nurses at hospitals. It’s for ANYONE you feel that qualifies. This can include clinics, retirement facilities, long-term care facilities, pharmacies, dental offices, etc.

How does it work?

It’s simple! Sign up using the form and we will match you to a health care worker.

Ideas for what you can do for your adoptee:

Nominate Yourself or Someone You Know to Be Adopted

If you are a Health Care worker and would like to nominate yourself for adoption OR if you know a Health Care worker that you would like to nominate for adoption, fill out this form and we’ll get you/them connected to someone who has signed up to adopt. You — or the person you nominated — will receive a surprise from the person that signed up to adopt.

Sign Up to Adopt

If you are interested in “adopting” fill out this form and we’ll get you connected to an “adoptee”. We will email you with information about your adoptee.

Note: no monetary minimum or maximum. Our goal is to show healthcare workers that have been working tirelessly during this pandemic that we support them and all they are doing to keep our community safe.
