Resources and Updates for Area Schools
Gov. Kim Reynolds and the Iowa Department of Education announced earlier in April that all school districts and nonpublic schools will be closed for the remainder of the school year and will continue to offer continuous learning to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. While this change has arrived quickly and with little time to make accommodations, many school districts are providing resources for this transition such as online learning assistance, technology loans, as well as meals for kids.
Childcare Resources
Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) provides services that help parents make informed choices about the care of their children. CCR&R refers parents to programs that are most likely to meet their specific needs. Referrals are provided so that parents can look into all of their options.
